The 40 V max XGT® brushless 6-1/2 in circular saw provides cordless convenience while taking on high-demand applications. The Makita-built brushless motor delivers up to 5200 rpm for high-speed cutting performance. The 6-1/2 in circular saw can deliver up to 290 cuts per charge in 2 x 10 SPF lumber on a fully charged 40 V max XGT® 4 Ah battery. The GSH05 features a 2-1/4 in cutting capacity at 90 deg and 1-5/8 in at 45 deg, with a 0 to 50 deg bevel capacity with positive stops at 22.5, 45 and 50 deg. The saw features electric brake for maximum productivity. It features a die-cast magnesium base, blade guard and blade cover provide a lightweight design, weighs only 7.9 lb with 4 Ah battery. Convenience features include a LED light with pre-glow and after-glow illuminates the work area and a retractable extra wide tool hook that secures the tool when not in use. The GSH05 features a compact and ergonomic design at only 11-3/4 in long without battery.
