Rope, Koch, 1/4 in Dia, 100 ft L, Polyester

Polyester is a strong rope. It is very close to nylon in strength but stretches very little. The ability to absorb shock loads are good but not as well as nylon. Polyester is equally resistant as nylon to moisture and chemicals, but is great in resistance to abrasions and sunlight. Polyester does not float and will absorb water but is flexible. Suggested applications include general use, anchor and dock line marine applications. This is the material to choose in many applications where ultimate performance or minimum weight is not absolutely essential.
