The E-Z Mender is part of a Simpson Strong-Tie® line of products designed to help make reinforcing fence posts simple and economical. The E-Z product line offers solutions for a variety of fence post projects. These fence post repair brackets allow for easy repair of rotted or damaged 4 x 4 wood posts installed in concrete or dirt. Installed in pairs, they reinforce weakened wood posts as a cost-effective alternative to replacing the post or the concrete.

• Attach post to E-Z Mender using either #9 x 1-1/2 in Strong-Drive® SD connector screws or six HDG nails
• Post bases do not provide adequate resistance to prevent rotation about the base and therefore are not recommended for non-top-supported installations such as fences or unbraced carports
