Hillman 180423 Hex Nut, Coarse Thread, 1-1/2-6 Thread, Steel, Yellow Dichromate, Class 8 Grade Hex nuts are to be used with machine bolts to adhere facing materials to prevent tension. Specifically in wood to wood, wood to metal or metal to metal applications. Tri-alloy Grade 8 steel hex nuts are recommended for most outdoor construction uses and are corrosion resistant.
