Hem-Fir, Pressure Treated - Ground Contact, No. 2 & Better grade lumber. Often described as an 8 ft, 6 x 6 (nominal sizing), this product typically measures 5-1/2 in thick by 5-1/2 in wide. Appearance notes: Rough Sawn. Green Tone Stained

• No. 2 & Better grade lumber is used in all general construction; this grade is designed for the many uses where higher strength properties are not needed and where serviceability is important; few defects are permitted and knots of any quality are allowed as long as they are well spaced and do not exceed size regulations; this grade may also include grades “Better” than No. 2
• Pressure-treated with preservative agents to protect against termites, decay and rot; intended for above ground, ground contact, freshwater contact and saltwater splash
• The board has been initially cut with a rough texture on all 4 sides by the sawmill
