Split Lock Washer, Hillman, Stainless Steel, #4, External Toothed

An assortment of stainless steel internal and external toothed lock washer variants from The Hillman Group. Internal toothed lock washers are hardened, circular washers with twisted prongs or in teeth, in extending inward from the inside edge. These in teeth in are used to prevent nuts and bolts from loosening caused by vibration and/or corrosion. External toothed lock washers have serrations around the outer diameter which provide better holding power due to a greater surface area. Variants included in this assortment run from #4 thru 1/2 in screw size.
