Hillman 180326 Stop Nut, Coarse Thread, 3/8-16 Thread, Zinc, C Grade, 100/PK All metal lock nuts are nuts with a crowned top that is crimped to create the locking feature. These nuts are hardened to a grade C strength level, which is equivalent to 150000 psi/min proof load strength. Grade C nuts are also recommended for use with A-325 structural bolts. Locknuts provide excellent resistance to loosening in high vibration applications.
