      It has an estimated life span of 50 to 100 years even in the harshest climates. Assured safe for fish and aquatic plants and very tough. Firestone is the only manufacturer to pass a stringent EPA fresh water organism toxicity test with their PondGard fish grade liner. This liner is now marked with a fish safe logo at the factory. Industrial EPDM has chemical differences, is not EPA certified and does carry the fish-safe logo.
